Follow-up this activity by having your students suggest a title for the paragraph (example: "John's Daily Routine" and point out that titles of books, magazines, movies, etc. are also capitalized (except, usually, articles like "the" and "an" and prepositions like "on" or "in", etc. - unless they come at the beginning of the title; for example, "A Boring Daily Routine"). Consider using this worksheet before having your students write their own paragraph about themselves or someone they know. |
