BIMONTHLY NEWSLETTER #4
Hello Ultra Teachers!

WHY IS THE SKY BLUE? (EASY VERSION)
Following the upload of the Advanced level comprehension quiz “Why is the Sky Blue?” earlier this month, the 60-minute multi-page lesson version for Elementary to Intermediate level learners will be uploaded in just a few more days. Look for it in the “Colors” section and the “Planet Earth” section of this site. It will also be available for Level 1 Super Teachers on: https://www.allthingstopics.com

SPOT THE DIFFERENCES
For the “Spot the Differences” activities that I upload on the 20th of every month, I decided to create an activity on the topic of driving. This was uploaded a couple of days ago. Before I begin repeating any topic themes, I’d love to have at least one “Spot the Differences” activity for each of the 100 or so topics I have on my All Things Topics site.
All of these activities are uploaded onto this page: https://www.allthings-esl.com/elementary-to-intermediate-spot-the-differences.html
However, later this year, I hope to also have them available on each of the corresponding topics pages of the Ultra Teacher site.

AD-FREE, DOWNLOADABLE VIDEOS
A quick update on converting all 300+ YouTube videos on this site to an ad-free, downloadable format: about 200 of the videos have been converted so far, with about 100+ left to go. I think these will be a great asset for teachers who (1) want to download them and send them to learners for additional study (sending YouTube links, not surprisingly, incurs the risk of having learners quickly getting distracted by cat videos); (2) want to show them in class but have unreliable internet service at their school; (3) teach one-to-one classes outside of a school environment (and thus may not have easy, secure internet access); and teachers who (4) must teach remotely if we are hit by another pandemic (God forbid).

LEVEL 2 PASSWORDS
Finally, below each of the Level 1 orange download buttons on the All Things Topics site and the All Things Grammar site, I’ve added a link to redirect Level 2 patrons to the Ultra Teacher site home page. The link looks like this:

This is because I occasionally get messages from Level 2 patrons asking why their Level 2 password doesn’t work with the Level 1 buttons.

It’s important to note that every Level 1 worksheet is also available on the Level 2 site with your Level 2 password (plus hundreds more exclusive materials). I think some Level 2 teachers might not be aware of this, or they forget. Regardless, along with the new Level 2 passwords that I send out at the beginning of each month, I also send out the Level 1 passwords to Ultra Teachers.

As always, if you ever have any questions about the passwords, please don't hesitate to contact me! :)
Wishing you all the very best!
Robert
