New Newsletter Feature:
Q& A
From the time I first published 'All Things Grammar' back in 2014, I've been very fortunate to receive hundreds of questions, comments, and suggestions emailed from my site visitors. This ongoing input has been both a wonderful source of motivation -  and a valuable resource to help guide the evolution of my sites!
Each newsletter update (starting from this edition), I'll be sharing new questions, comments, and suggestions from members and site visitors - ones that I've already directly personally answered. Perhaps, however, some of these are ones that have already been on your mind, and so possibly you may find my responses to them (in shortened form) useful as you navigate around my sites!
Here are the first five below, who contacted me in the past couple of weeks:

Misdirected Link
  • Dana asked:
"Hi! I'm a level 2 patron, and I just want to let you know that on your crime page, the download link actually links to a poll about the moon, not crime. I really appreciate your site!"
Picture
  • Me:
Thank you Dana, once again, for contacting me about this (and my apologies for the mix-up)! I always do my best to ensure all the links are set up properly, but with literally several thousands of links I'm very grateful for visitors who reach out to me about misdirected links. I almost always can fix the problem within 24 hours, often within just a few minutes. (I fixed the link right away.)

Spot the Differences
  • Melissa suggested the following:
"I would love to see a fall/autumn themed spot the difference so students can practice using new vocabulary related to the season. Thank you! These are always a hit with my students!"
Picture
  • Me:
That's a great suggestion! So in addition to the above two new spot-the-differences activities, I'll also be uploading a third activity, also on the 20th: "Autumn / Fall"

Canceling a Membership
  • Susan asked:
"Hi, I need to cancel my membership. How do I go about that?"
Picture
  • Me:
This is a very common question. On the left side purple navigation bar, you can find a page titled: How to Find & Use Your New ULTRA Teacher Level 2 Patreon Member Password
Picture
Clicking on this will bring you to a page where (at the very bottom) you can find a link to the official Patreon site page that provides clear and simple to follow instructions about canceling your membership.

Grouping Activities
  • Linnea asked:
"Hi - thank you so much for your wonderful sites! Would it be possible to group the activities into one tab, for example: All the Let's Talk in one tab, all the crosswords in one tab... it would save so much time if we could find them quickly! Thank you!"

  • Me:
Thanks, Linnea! That's a great idea!
So, yes, absolutely! I'll continue to do this with all my activities (I did this with only my Basic English Dialogs Videos and Worksheets, a long while back). It will take some time, though, to complete the task - several months at the very least (possibly a goal to reach by the end of the coming year ahead). But great idea, I'm already on it!

Altering worksheets
Kimberly wondered:
"Hello Robert! I am very grateful for your website and the resources you provide.

I wanted to check with you to see if I could white out [part of] a grammar worksheet before I photocopy it for my ESL class ...

Just wanted to confirm it was okay before altering your resource. Thanks again for the wonderful site!"
Picture
Me:
Green light on that! Altering worksheets for personal and classroom use is perfectly okay! :)
